X-Treme Equipment
Xtreme Equipment was founded in 1989 in a river guide's garage in Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa with the aim of providing river users with high quality, well-designed safety equipment.
New Life was breathed into the company at the beginning of the new Millennium when it was purchased by the Campbell brothers, Gary an ex Springbok White Water canoeist and captain of the SA rafting team and Bruce, a keen kayaker and river guide Who has also Managed and Captained the South African White Water Rafting Team to a world cup event. They brought with them new innovative ideas to X-Treme and maintain the high standard of manafacture. X-treme is now situated in Estcourt KZN on the banks of the Bushman’s river, where local and international Slalom and white Water teams run regular training camps, giving X-treme Equipment the inspiration to keep developing their products in line with international standards.
Chances are, if you've rafted on one of Africa's big rivers like the Zambezi or the Nile, one of X-treme's High-Float Commercial PFD's (Personal Flotation Device) kept you from some serious down-time as we are the preferred supplier to all the major Rafting Co in Africa!
